WWC Engineering’s Ben Schiffer was recently appointed by Gov. Mark Gordon to the Wyoming State Geological Survey Advisory Board. The appointment was approved by the Wyoming Senate during its most recent legislative session.
The advisory board helps formulate and direct agency policies and programs. The Wyoming State Geological Survey studies, distributes reports and maps, and provides information, advice and services related to the geology, mineral resources and physical features of the state.
Schiffer attended Whitman College and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in geology. Prior to joining WWC Engineering, he worked for a major in-situ uranium producer and for a small consulting firm with projects in Alaska, California and Wyoming.
Schiffer has worked with WWC Engineering for 16 years, specializing in in-situ uranium feasibility and permitting and oil and gas permitting. He has overseen hundreds of drilling programs.
